Location: Vineland, New Jersey

Job Description:

As a Lab Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the production and quality assurance of our regulated cannabis-infused products. This position is responsible for maintaining a compliant, safe, and efficient laboratory environment that meets high standards of quality and consistency. You’ll manage day-to-day lab operations, supervise production technicians, and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety standards, and internal SOPs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee production of cannabis-infused products, ensuring they are produced with high quality and compliance.
- Manage and maintain lab equipment and kitchen areas, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records throughout production to ensure quality control of regulated products.
- Strictly enforce GMP, Food Safety, and QA regulations, ensuring all staff adhere to SOPs and recipes.
- Lead and implement new systems, processes, and procedures to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and hygiene practices at all times.
- Conduct regular performance checks on equipment and work closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
- Assist in the implementation of training programs for new employees to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team.

Competencies and Qualifications:

- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow procedures with precision and maintain high standards of consistency across large volumes of products.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a dynamic environment with high-stress tolerance.
- Strong Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide various units of measure.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shifts.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
- Desired Background: Culinary experience, or experience in a GMP manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred. Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in GMP-compliant environments.
- Culinary or laboratory experience is a plus.

Hours:

- Flexibility to choose your own schedule

- Weekdays from 4PM - 8PM

- Weekends from 8AM - 3PM
