Veda Warrior was founded with an audacious mission: to empower society with knowledge of medicinal plants in order to reduce our dependence on over-prescribed and often misused prescription drugs. This commitment emerged from my experiences on Wall Street in healthcare investment banking, where I saw a disturbing focus on putting recurring revenues over the wellbeing of our population.

This realization compelled me to reconnect with my roots as a descendant of scholars who were tasked with safeguarding the wisdom of the ancient Vedic texts thousands of years ago, which include the profound knowledge of yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. Inspired to focus specifically on Ayurveda, an ancient holistic healing science, I was drawn to its time-tested knowledge of over 700 powerful medicinal plants (including cannabis), as well its personalized approach to healing through holistic practices. Further fueling my passion for natural healing was my family’s 200-year history operating an organic grain farm in Bihar, India, where cannabis and many other medicinal plants grow naturally in the wild. As the first woman to inherit my ancestral farmland in India, my connection to the land and its native crops underscored my enchantment with Earth's profound medicinal potential.

I founded Veda Warrior to integrate the ancient heritage of cannabis with modern science to empower individuals with natural food and wellness alternatives that enhance their daily health and vitality.
