Healing Benefits of the Ingredients
Veda Warrior Infused Olive Oil
From an Ayurvedic perspective, olive oil is grounding and supports healthy digestion and joint function. When combined with cannabis, it provides enhanced anti-inflammatory and calming properties, making it ideal for people managing pain, anxiety, or stress. The fat in olive oil also enhances the bioavailability of THC for effective microdosing.
Chickpeas
Chickpeas are rich in fiber and plant protein. They help stabilize blood sugar and support digestive health. Ayurveda classifies chickpeas as astringent and light, which helps balance oily or heavy foods, making them great for maintaining energy and gut clarity.
Tahini
Made from ground sesame seeds, tahini is nourishing and lubricating, especially for dry tissues and joints. It supports reproductive and skin health and is high in calcium, magnesium, and good fats—ideal for building strength and stamina.
Lemon Juice
Fresh lemon enhances digestion, gently stokes digestive fire, and helps the body detoxify. It lightens the overall dish, making it easier to digest while offering a bright, revitalizing flavor.
Garlic
Garlic is a potent herbal medicine in Ayurveda, used to stimulate digestion, boost circulation, and support immune function. It helps clear stagnation and supports the body's natural detoxification systems.
Salt
In small amounts, salt enhances digestion and taste. It also helps draw out the flavor and therapeutic properties of other ingredients.
Pepper
Black pepper enhances bioavailability and helps stimulate digestion. It also supports respiratory health and circulation.
Ice Cube
Using a single ice cube while blending hummus is a chef's trick to achieve a creamy, whipped texture. While not Ayurvedic per se, cold temperature helps balance the heat of garlic and salt in this dish.
